On June 12, 2021, Miss Greater Salt Lake, Sasha Sloan was crowned Miss Utah 2021 and awarded a $10,000 scholarship at the Covey Center for the Arts in Provo, Utah.
Over the next year, Sasha will travel the state performing, sharing her social impact initiative, “RISE for Refugees: Refugee Inclusivity, Support, and Education,” and serving as a state ambassador for The Miss Utah Scholarship Organization. Sasha will also represent the state at the Miss America Competition in Connecticut later this year.
Sasha hails from North Salt Lake and is a Senior at Brigham Young University studying political science. She is an aspiring political news analyst and New York Times bestselling fantasy author.
During the third night of the preliminary competition, she received the preliminary red carpet award and a $100 scholarship. Along with the title of Miss Utah 2021 and a $10,000 scholarship, Murdock Hyundai gave her the keys to a brand new car for the year. During her year of service, she will also receive multiple in-kind donations and services from the proud sponsors of the Miss Utah Organization.

Miss Utah 2021 Royalty
- First Runner-up: Miss Provo, Katie Ann Powell received a $4,000 scholarship, and a talent preliminary and $100 scholarship;
- Second Runner-up: Miss Lehi, Lindsey Larsen received a $3,000 scholarship;
- Third Runner-up: Miss Orem, Glory Thomas received a $2,000 scholarship, a talent preliminary and $100 scholarship, a rookie red carpet preliminary and $100 scholarship, and the Soles4Souls shoe drive award and trip with the non-profit organization;
- Fourth Runner-up: Miss Weber County, Abigail Laing received a $1,000 scholarship, a red carpet preliminary and $100 scholarship.
