Miss Orem and Miss Greater Salt Lake received preliminary awards during the third night of The Miss Utah Scholarship Competition held at the Covey Center for the Arts on June 11, 2021.
In addition, the highest ad page sales winner was recognized.
Talent Preliminary Winner
Miss Orem, Glory Thomas was the winner of the preliminary talent competition and will receive a $100 scholarship. Glory performed the classical vocal “Nella Fantasia.” She is a junior at Brigham Young University studying experience design and management.
Red Carpet Preliminary Winner
Miss Greater Salt Lake, Sasha Sloan was the winner of the preliminary red carpet competition and will receive a $100 scholarship. She is a senior at Brigham Young University studying political science.
ROOKIE PRELIMINARY WINNERS
TALENT
Miss Layton, Hannah Olsen was the winner of the preliminary talent rookie award and will receive a $100 scholarship. Hannah performed a musical theater vocal to “Journey to the Past.” She is a senior at Weber State University studying finance and criminal justice.
RED CARPET
Miss Southern Utah, Hillary Beecher was the winner of the preliminary red carpet rookie award and will receive a $100 scholarship. She is a graduate of Dixie State University with a degree in biology.

Miss Pleasant Grove, Brooklin Allen was recognized for selling the most ad pages for the official Miss Utah Competition Magazine.
