Miss Utah Org. Wins State Miracle Maker Award for Raising Over $80,000 for Children’s Miracle Network

On Thursday, September 7, 2017, The Miss Utah Scholarship Organization was recognized as a State Miracle Maker. Utah places as one of the top three fundraisers for Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals at the 2018 Miss America Competition in Atlantic City, NJ.

Utah was named the second runner-up for raising over $82,000 for #CMNHospitals. Executive Director of the MUO, Jean Hatch, accepted the award on behalf of the organization and received a plaque and $2,000 grant for the Miss Utah Scholarship Fund.
Of the award Hatch said,
“I’m thrilled that all of the contestants and leaders in our state are being recognized for their hard work.”

The Miss Alabama Organization came in first place with $103,000 raised and The Miss South Carolina took home the crown having raised over $133,000.

This is the 11th year CMNH has been the official national platform partner of the Miss America Organization.
