Hey there Utah, I am Jordyn Bristol! I am so honored to represent the beautiful Beehive State as your Miss Utah 2025!
I am obsessed with the Miss America Opportunity, but let’s get deeper! Here are 10 quirky things beyond the crown (and my obsession with bees).
1. I am not originally from Utah!
I was born and raised in La Verne, California, and my Friday nights were spent 45 minutes away from home, either in Los Angeles trying the best street tacos known to man or surfing the most average wave you’ve seen, then grabbing a Disneyland churro on the way home. I grew up attending July 24th family reunions in Beaver, Utah, though, so I always knew I would end up here!
2. Education is one of my biggest passions.
I love to learn! After graduating from Glendora High School, I attended Citrus College where I studied theater and performing arts as a Citrus Singer. In 2020, I transferred to Utah Valley University,xx where I graduated with my Bachelor’s in Public Relations and Strategic Communications with a minor in Marketing. I am currently attending Western Governors University, where I am obtaining my Master’s in Business Administration. All debt-free, too, thanks to the Miss Utah Scholarship Organization!

3. I have sung my whole life.
I’m sure if you asked my parents, they would say I was humming before I could even speak, and if you ask my younger brother, he’d say I sing far too much. I dreamed of working on Broadway, and while this is still a dream of mine, the Miss America and Miss Utah stages are great stepping stones.

4. I am passionate about feeding children!
My community service initiative is called Outnumber Hunger, and I focus on eliminating the effects of childhood food insecurity and providing legislative pathways to provide food in homes and during school. I assisted in the passing of HB100 during the 2025 Utah legislative session with the American Heart Association of Utah, The Policy Project, Utahns Against Hunger, and Provo City Representative Tyler Clancy. I am also a recent Brand Ambassador for No Kid Hungry!

5. I am a total adrenaline junky and hobby hopper.
I could chat about everything from Ironman triathlons to fly fishing in one conversation! As someone who grew up hating running, I weirdly find so much peace in training for 70.3 Ironman races and eventually Boston Qualifying. I also love hiking Utah’s peaks, surfing in Lake Powell, skiing and snowboarding, and fly fishing. As long as I am outside, I will try anything!

6. I am a music addict.
Shamelessly, I listened to over 87,000 minutes of music in 2024, according to Spotify. I have attended over 90 concerts, ranging from The Eras Tour, One Direction, to Blink-182. I got my love of music from my late father, who would always show me new music. If you see me in the wild, I most likely have my AirPods in!
7. I work in social media marketing.
I have worked at Avalaunch Media for over a year as their social media director and paid advertisement specialist. I love what I do for work and love all of my clients! I write and manage content ranging from nutraceuticals to orebody mining, and I never have a boring day at work.
8. I competed for Miss Utah 4 times before winning!
If you were looking for a sign to keep going, let me be that for you. I love this program and am so honored and grateful to finally have the opportunity to serve as Miss Utah. This has truly been a dream!
9. I love traveling.
My passport has been used less lately, but I have been to 10 countries, including China and Honduras. I went on a Europe trip with my mom and brother, where we lived out of carry-ons and went to 4 countries, Poland being my favorite!
10. My favorite titles are “Big Sister” and “Daughter”.
In 2017, my dad passed away from colon cancer. My whole life changed in one moment, but I have never been closer to my family, especially while not physically, my father. I have a younger brother who is my best friend! He races dirt bikes, plays baseball, and always sends me the funniest Instagram memes. My mom is my rock! She is a registered nurse in California and a force of a human, everyone who has met her truly loves her and admires her, including me!!

I cannot wait to walk the Miss America stage and bring everyone along on my journey! I love this state, I love this program, and I am ready to continue to hit the ground running!
