TURN Community Services is an organization that I have had the pleasure to work with for the past two years. Each time I’ve been blessed with the opportunity to mingle with TURN’s sweet clients, it never fails to brighten even the worst of days. They specialize in community involvement with those who have special needs as well as teaching them life-long skills and giving them the proper tools to work toward being successful in all their endeavors. In other words, “turning dreams into realities.”
There are many different attributes TURN possesses and many unique and exciting ways to get those in the community involved. TURN is located all over Utah from Brigham City to St. George! Wherever you may be, there is a place in need of your volunteerism. It provides services for more than 850 individuals with developmental disabilities and offers a very wide range of services including day programs, residential living services, art center programs, summer camp, and supported employment opportunities.
Find out how you can volunteer by watching my interview with Dave Hennessy, the Executive Director of TURN.
