During night one of the Miss Utah Competition, 47 contestants competed for the title of Miss Utah 2025. The Miss Utah Scholarship Pageant is divided into three preliminary competitions. The top 15 scoring contestants will compete for the title of Miss Utah on June 14 at 7 p.m.
Rookie Awards and a $250 scholarship are given to the highest scoring first-year contestants in Talent and Evening Gown their competition groups. Preliminary Awards and a $350 scholarship are given to the highest overall scoring contestants in Talent and Evening Gown in their competition groups.

Arches Group Rookie Talent Award
Miss Riverton, Kylie Hallett performed classical vocal and received a $250 scholarship.
Bryce Group Rookie Evening Gown Award
Miss Heber Valley, Elle Miller received a $250 scholarship.

Miss American Fork, Brynn Carnesecca performed classical piano and received a $350 scholarship.
